District Proposals - Important Info!

There are a lot of changes proposed for the ConVal School District at the moment. Please see the resources below to educate yourself!

Prismatic Report: Reconfiguration

School Care Insurance: Due to cost increases for Health Trust next year, the district is exploring alternatives. You can search for your providers in the School Care network by searching here. Please share feedback with Kimberly directly. See her payday memo #5 for more information.

📅 Please consider sharing your thoughts on the school calendar by filling out this quick survey. There is no option on the survey to request Indigenous Peoples (fka Columbus Day) as a day off, but you can write it in at the bottom.

December CVEA Highlights!

This month, our reps and officers have:

Supported members in 4 meetings with administration.
.Committed 10 hours to meetings related to administrative concerns.
Dedicated 6 hours to resolving payroll issues.

Partnerships to Support Members’ Professional Development and Education
NEA-NH has an agreement with Antioch University to provide a 15% discount for NEA-NH members to enroll in individual courses, certificates, or MEd programs at AUNE, and a 20% discount to members who enroll in graduate programs.

We have an agreement with Southern New Hampshire University to offer one graduate credit for each completed NEA micro-credential. (NOTE- There are new micro-credentials available on Adult Social Emotional Learning and on Climate change.) The cost of the graduate credit is $120.

We have an agreement with VESI to provide NEA-New Hampshire members up to nine graduate credits for $225.

Our Building Reps meet monthly to support the efforts of the CVEA and our members!
